Ancillary Task Research: Magazine Advertisement

We have looked at Joe Brook's advertisement for a gig in Bristol Academy. We have chosen this to analyse because Joe Brook shares very similar conventions with Ed Sheeran and this is advertising his work.

The design is quite stylised as it uses a cartoon effect on the background and clothes however Joe Brook stays realistic. What I like about this design is the defined colours which enforces the nature element of the background and the surroundings. I would like to reflect this in my own work.
