Music Video Research: Intertextal reference

We have agreed that we both want to include an intertextal reference in our piece.
This has been decided as the iconic scene from The Notebook.
This is because we believe it'll fit best into our couples narratives.
It will be very difficult to do due to fact we cannot control the weather however we are going to try very harder to create the medium frame shot of two people kissing in the rain.
This shot will replace a close up kiss which we had already storyboarded into the video.
